About us

Welcome to Wooden Minar – a toy shop created with love, faith, and a commitment to sustainability. Founded in 2020 by two Muslim sisters, we set out to create something meaningful for our community. As Muslim mothers, we wanted to design toys that not only reflect our values but also stand the test of time. That’s why we focus on sustainable products, crafted with care to last for generations.

Our journey began in a small garage in Canada, where we hand-crafted each toy set using locally sourced wood and a scroll saw. Every block set was thoughtfully designed, cut, sanded, and painted by hand, with love and attention to detail in every step of the process. Our signature creation, the Masjid Building Blocks, was born from our desire to offer children a creative way to connect with their faith and learn about Islamic architecture through play.

While we've since expanded and now work with trusted production partners to meet growing demand, our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability remains at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to bring products that encourage learning, creativity, and faith, while also being mindful of the planet for future generations.
